Selfless

Slaves of unrequited love
That faces the sun above
Let your hearts bleed
To feed what you seed

For survivors have scars
Worn as medals of wars
Reminding us of the past
That the truth would last

Beyond the sky’s horizon
After the skin has wizen
Before your lips is hushed
Memories will be flashed

For betrayal that is given
Can never ever be undone
Nor can it be fully forgiven
Like an indiscriminate gun

But silent words always stay
Within the heart as it pray
To be true to oneself always
And enjoy riding life as it sways
