My Work

Every day I write
From left to right
Without any light
All thru the night
With the moon in sight
Whose pale as white

Beaming a dream
Flowing as a stream
Soft as ice cream
Full to the brim
Thick as a ream

I am not a writer
Nor one brighter
But only a fighter
With feet lighter
And a heart tighter

Tell Me

Repeat after me
Or just let it be

Words are free
That we can agree

An echo in your heart
Is ready to depart

Aiming to be a part
Of a family to start

But Honesty is needed
Love to be seeded

Care to be heeded
Lies to be ceded

It is worth waiting
As emotions escalating

With Loneliness abating
For a future worth creating

So now please tell me
Don’t just let it be

You must set it free
Even if we disagree

Enigma

Oh Lady of mine
How odd you shine

Lavishly you dine
While men whine

Your lips like wine
So full and fine

Words like twine
A source to pine

You cross any line
Yet you are divine

A maze by design
A feat to define

A curse or a sign
Still I wish I am thine

Theory of the Day

What I want is pointless
What I see is senseless

If my words are oft lost
To whom I love the most

For angels will fall
If love is absent to all

For heaven will be empty
If hate is all but plenty

The sun will never rise
 If tomorrow is no surprise

The air will be quiet and still
 Without laughter to fill

The oceans will run dry
 Without our tears and cry

The flowers will never bloom
Without a bride and a groom

The sky will be gray and pale
Without a woman in a veil

For life can never be born
 Out of darkness and scorn

For we have to seize each day
Pray that love will never betray

Dreaming of Sleeping

Catch my breathe
Ere the last leaf fall

In thy hands of death
Amid a winter’s call

Hold it with you lips
Until my body is cold

Bury me in your hips
Until my eyes fold

Whisper in my ears
Until I am hollow

Drench me in your tears
As bitterness swallow

The snow is waiting
To paint the world white

And my life is abating
Forever dreaming of tonight
