Island of Reconciliation
When I look beyond the orange twilight
Have I reached this story’s highlight?
While the sea overruns my memories
My defenses crumble in all boundaries
As wave of tears crash to the shore
I ask myself “what is this all for?”
Will I always be under dark skies?
Or can the ocean bury all your lies?
As each sigh I send to the wind
A star falls for you who have sinned
I will lower myself to the depths
Like the sun in its daily steps
If only I can raise you from this night
And have you shine like the moonlight
Forgiveness is a ship that often sail
Catch it for us my love and don’t fail
