The Cup

We are a cup filled with a monotone life
Stirred by colorful emotions that’s so rife

It must be cared for and replenished
For it is fragile and often famished

But time drinks upon us ceaselessly
Giving way to the void seamlessly

For death is the emptiness inside
Growing and preaching about suicide

By pouring our lives into each other
We can fill and refill both of us together

So let us taste each others flavor
Be drunk in our spirited fervor

Let our kiss fill us up to the brim
Drowning the void into our cream

For without you, it will be half empty
Together our love is just more than plenty

  1. Hey Sid, your site looks good man, a lot of nice works on here. More people should read your poems, most of them have a hidden meaning, they really show your feelings. Keep up the good work! I'll be checking this site out every now and then
