Skyward

We are the sea and heaven apart
Bonded only by the distant horizon

A lucid mirror of each others’ heart
Whose ill-fates are often bedizen

And when your hand dips into me
My very skin trembles with glee

As passion stirs the tides to flee
Love's tug of war will set us free

As your lips touch the water's ridge
Your face burns red like the sunset

Your staring eyes is a white bridge
Thrusting me towards a romantic outset
