Everything from Nothing

As I press your hands upon my heart
I feel alive again and ready to depart

Towards the working noise of the town
But your kiss always pulls me down

Like a lullaby easing my restless soul
I remember as to why I gave up all

Through a solemn vow and a golden ring
Amid a modest rite that I afford to bring

We felt complete though having nothing
And became one and gained everything
