Night of the Samurai
As all the flowers
bow
The sun has left
for now
For the fields glow
in tones
A beauty the moon
disowns
A brush of light
and shade
Silent as my
samurai blade
Still and a
peaceful sensation
Hiding a deep
condemnation
As I slice the wind
in pieces
This pain gradually
ceases
There might be no
tomorrow
As my thought dips
in sorrow
Blood will drench
the petals
With the clashing
of metals
Cycle of
destruction will turn
The souls of
innocence burn
But as the leaves
open to pray
Only a sword will
remain to stay
To remind us the
things we miss
If we surrender
serenity and bliss
