Forever’s Twilight (The Angel of Death Poem)

The sun is dipping in the sea
While an angel is smiling at me

She points to the far south
Yet silence drips in her mouth

Her blue crystal eyes beaming
I can feel my heart screaming

As the wind dances in my hair
Her wings are hanging in the air

She’s a blessing to a poor drifter
A man turned into a trash sifter

But as the moon rises, she sings
Embracing me deep in her wings

And as her song pierces my ears
She lifts me away from my fears

Kissing me into a heavenly daze
Changing the world into a haze

Fading until there are no more
For this is what I was looking for

A time with no more tomorrow
A place devoid of utter sorrow
